Discover Digital Festival sessions

Our Discover Digital Festival has six new workshops for you to explore! Each workshop is offered multiple times throughout the programme. You can sign up for as many as you like, and all the family are welcome to attend, including siblings.

Some workshops require an iPad, and others are available to access on any device. We will let you know on the booking form below which device you can attend the session with.

These sessions will take place online over Zoom in small groups. They are designed for a variety of skill levels and ages, but if you have any concerns please email us at digitalskills@familyfund.org.uk or call us on 01904 550066.

Storytelling Sketchers

Ever wondered what kind of monster hides in your phone? In our Storytelling sketchers workshop, you'll draw and create your own crew of monsters, to join your next selfie. And who knows, maybe they'll be your new best friends!

Remix Rockstars

Our Remix rockstars workshop lets you take your favourite songs and turn them into something totally different. Scratch, rewind, and add crazy effects to make your own musical masterpiece!

Badge Buddies

Do you have something you really love? In the Badge buddies workshop, you can design your own digital badge to show the world what makes YOU special!

Visionary Vloggers

Have something special you want to share with the world? Visionary vloggers is where YOU get to be the star! Learn how to make your own vlog and share all the things that matter to you with your friends and family.

Animation Artists

Ever wanted to make your toys the heroes of a cartoon or tell a story with pictures? Join the Animation artists workshop and learn how to make objects move like magic.

Creative Coders
Any device

Creative coders is your chance to master the power of coding using micro:bit. Make your feelings light up the room with flashing happy and sad faces you program yourself!
